Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Guesthouse Bernardin, I found the experience more intriguing than I initially anticipated. Nestled against the historical St Jacob's Church, the décor reflects a unique blend of history and modernity-exposed brick walls and thoughtfully designed spaces create a comfortable atmosphere. The culinary experience was a highlight. Each morning, we savored a healthy and gourmet breakfast delivered straight to our room. The variety and quality impressed me-definitely a lovely way to start the day. For lunch, I ventured out to De Hovenier, just 0.14 km away. Their inventive dishes paired well with the trendy ambiance of the café. Accessing the hotel was less smooth; the check-in process was confusing due to unclear instructions regarding the entry code, which could prove difficult, especially for international travelers without consistent Wi-Fi access. Despite this hiccup, the comfort of the room and the vibrant locale ultimately made my stay enjoyable. If you're a foodie looking to explore, this could be the place for you.
